  3. SMARTair positioning • SMARTair is a wire-free Access Control Solution (escutcheon, knob cylinder, wall reader, cabinet lock, escutcheon for panic bar) operated by RFID, for commercial applications. • The product can easily be installed or retrofitted on any mechanical lock.

What is SMARTair? • Access control solution integrated into 4 products: • Escutcheon: • Can be retrofitted onto almost any mechanical lock (including panic bar mechanism) • The locking is done with a clutch mechanism • Knob cylinder: • For doors that cannot be changed. The knob cylinder will replace the mechanical cylinder • Wall reader: • To control electric strikes, magnet locks and electronic locks • Cabinet lock: • To lock cabinet locks • Allows all access control features: authorizations, time profile, event log, anti pass back, card expiration time... And more! • Management options: Standalone, Offline, Update On Card, Wireless

What is e-motion? • SMARTair e-motion is a wire-free battery operated lock for cabinet doors, accessed by RFID. • Automatic extension and retracting of the bolt (for locking & opening). • Full integration with SMARTair Access Control system. • Management through the SMARTair software (also called TS1000).

E-motion operation modes • High traffic mode: • All lockers are available to all users. • A user can select a free locker and lock it by presenting his/her credential. • While locked by a user, other users cannot open the locker. Once the user has opened the locker, it is available to other users again. • User assigned mode: • Through the SMARTair software, a specific locker can be assigned on one or more users. • Support of various access control features. • It is possible to configure the locking to be done without a credential.
