  2. Paper Bags Paper Bags also known as Paper Sacks, are containers that are made of papers, with an opening at one end. The bags made of paper are usually more strong and thick than the ones made of plastic. Therefore, when compared to that, paper bags are considered more durable. Paper bags are generally used to carry items.

  3. Paper Bags are available in a large number of varieties. These constitutes: • Paper shopping bags, • Brown paper bags, • Grocery bags, • Paper bread bags and • light duty bags, etc

  4. Paper Bags are generally printed with the brand name that it is associated with. There are some paper bags that doesn’t have the brand name printed, instead it has the logo printed on it. The logo is of the brand or company that it is associated with. Since papers are not waterproof, one needs to avoid exposing paper bags to water as the water might damage it.

  5. Generally three types of paper bags are available in the market, which are: • Twisted, • Laminated and • Flat tap. • The laminated ones are however waterproof to some extent.

  6. Multiwall paper sack is also a type of paper bag. These bags are called multi-wall because they are made up of many papers making sure they are highly durable and can carry a good weight. These are usually used as shipping containers for bulk materials. The bulk materials generally constitute, sand, dry chemicals, fertilizer, animal feed and cement etc.

  7. We should be thankful to the inventors of paper bags for such a great invention. The three credited inventors of paper bags are: Margaret Knight, Francis Wolle, and Luther Childs Crowell. Paper bags have gained so much popularity because they areenvironmentally friendly and are readily recyclable.
