Accomplishmentscontinued Local Donations: • National Guard - Within 48 hours after Katrina donated three truckloads of first aid and medical supplies • City of New Orleans - Assisted in receiving, warehousing and distributing medical equipment for the City of New Orleans • Women’s New Life Center – donation of medical and office equipment • Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick – donation of medical supplies, medical equipment, office equipment, and furniture • Second Harvesters Food Bank – donation of 32,183 pounds of food • representing 80,000 meals for the poor • Catholic Charities – donation of medical supplies for various agencies rebuilding • Daughters of Charity – donation of medical supplies and equipment • Access Pregnancy Center – Donation of medical equipment and supplies
