William Bradford ~ Pilgrim • At around 12 years of age, he heard some sermons by a non-conformist minister: Richard Clyfton • These sermons significantly changed Bradford’s life and he aligned himself with Clyfton’s preaching • This group called themselves “Separatists” • Bradford was self-educated and deeply committed to the Separatist cause
