Philippines Typhoon Typhoon Haiyan left a trail of destruction across the Philippines, forcing over 4 million people from their homes and leaving many families with nothing.Red Cross staff and volunteers are working tirelessly to help people whose lives have been ripped apart, supplying vital emergency aid such as shelter and clean water. So far the Philippine Red Cross has given out food for more than 450,000 people and reached 19,000 people with hygiene kits to prevent the spread of disease.In the years ahead, the Red Cross will help thousands of people affected by the typhoon survive and rebuild their lives. The support of people like you will make this vital recovery work possible.
