Ekskursjon? • West Yorkshire Playhouse in Bradford • New play, Refugee Boy, based on the novel by Benjamin Zephaniah, a leading Black British writer, and adapted for the stage by LemnSissay • ("As a violent civil war rages back home, teenaged Alem and his father are in a B&B in Berkshire.  It's his best holiday ever.  The next morning his father is gone.  He's left a note explaining that his parents want to protect Alem from the war.  This strange grey country is now his home.") • Professor Gweno Williams has offered to go with us and give one or two supplementary lectures on the play/text. • Discounts are available on Monday to Friday and on groups over 10, so the cost of tickets should be between £5 and £13 per head, depending on where they sit, plus the shared cost of a coach or train fares.
