Emicool, which was founded in 2003 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC, is quickly establishing itself as a crucial player among the region's top-tier district cooling service providers. • Now let’s take a look at the list of commercial and residential areas with Emicool District Cooling in UAE.

  3. EXPO 2020 • The Emicool District Cooling Plant is situated on the Expo 2020 site in the Dubai South area near Al Maktoum International Airport. • The plant serves the spaces of EXPO Metro station, Conference and Exhibition Center, Dubai South Mall and EXPO Village which comprise 15 residential structures. • In the MEED Projects Awards 2020, Dubai World Trade Centre district coolingreceived the National Winner Award for EXPO Park and District Cooling Plant in the Small Projects of the Year Category.

  4. Jumeirah Bay • The Emicool District Cooling Plant, which is located on Jumeirah Bay Island will provide chilled water to Meraas residences as well as the Bulgari hotel and residences. • The chilled water plant has a total capacity of 5,000 TR.

  5. Fujairah Business Centre • The chilled water plant has a total capacity of 3,800 TR (Tonnes of Refrigeration). • The modular plant is situated nearby the Fujairah Business Centre. • The building is equipped with all MEP Services necessary for the district cooling plant and is structured to fulfil all requirements of Fujairah Authorities.

  6. Deira Night Souk • Emicool District Cooling Plant is located on Palm Deira Islands and is being built primarily to serve the Night Market and provide district cooling for commercial buildings in the vicinity. • The project comprises four centrifugal chillers with a combined capacity of 12,000 TR (each 3,000 TR) and a TES Tank with a capacity of 5,000 TR, bringing the overall capacity to 17,000 TR. • The project is constructed to handle an extra 3,000 TR in case of future needs.

  7. Mirdif Hills • Emicool has constructed a District Cooling Plant in Mirdif Hills, next to Mushrif Park. • Mirdif Hills is home to approximately 1,500 apartments, retail establishments, hospitals, hotels, commercial choices, and community activities. • The plant will provide water-cooled air conditioning and has a capacity to generate 8,200 TR.

  8. Motor City • The Emicool District Cooling Plant is located in Dubai Motor City and is designed to provide chilled water to business and residential buildings in the area. • The chilled water plant has a total capacity of 45,000 TR.
