  1. Why Are Nuts And Bolts Galvanised? Fasteners form an integral part of any kind of production unit from furniture to electrical appliances. Fasteners are used to join two or more parts of equipment for long-lasting use. They are made from metals like steel and come in various kinds like nuts, bolts, screws and washers. Fasteners are integral to any industry but what makes their lives elongated is the process of galvanisation. One of the main problems faced in the production of fasteners is the corrosion of metal. Galvanisation is the process that ensures that fasteners made from steel do not corrode.
