  2. The castle This is one of the most important medieval castles in Italy. It’s situated in Val d’Aosta, in the north of our country; its origins go back to the XIII century.

  3. The castle is a pentagonal plant and it has a massive tower. The yard has many beautiful frescos. On the East Wall are painted the Annunciation and Saints.

  4. At the ground floor there are some armories and dining rooms, a pantry, a kitchen, a study and a tax collection; at the first floor there are the chapel and a room where the counts usually met. Back to the menu

  5. The legend of the calf on the treasure In Challand-Saint-Anselme, a short distance from the houses of Orbeillaz, where Arbaz river, through the forest, into a spectacular waterfall, a fabulous treasure stay beneath a dark colored rock.
