What can SARC do for you? • Provide help developing a research idea • Provide help with contacting pharma • Provide help securing research funding • Identify granting agencies, foundations, etc • Assist in applying for funding • Provide help writing a research protocol • Provide help conducting a research study

  3. What types of studies? Any study requiring more than 1 site • Small studies of rare disease subtypes requiring many sites for participation • Large studies of more common diseases • Pilot studies, correlative studies • Phase 1/1b studies

  4. What is the process? • Discuss an idea with a member of the SARC leadership • Submit a Concept Sheet (available at sarctrials.org) • Review by Concept Review Committee, then to Clinical Research Committee and/or Developmental Therapeutics Committee • Written comments returned with suggests for change, discussion of next steps, etc

  5. SARC is well-poised to conduct important sarcoma studies What are the major outstanding questions in sarcoma clinical research? In the next 6 months, let’s identify these topics and begin to design the relevant studies
