Breve Historia • El nacimiento de este deporte fue por el año 1876 en Springfield, Massachusetts y fue Walter Camp quien escribió las reglas y con el se originó el comienzo mas formal del Futbol Americano.En el 1888 se introduce una de las reglas mas importantes y que difiere del rugby, la cual es poder placar al jugador por encima de la cintura lo cual hizó el Fútbol Americano mucho más violento y por esta regla estuvo apunto de prohibirse.

  3. Objetivo • El equipo atacante intenta llevar el balón bien mediante la carrera o mediante el pase, hacia la zona de anotación rival y así anotar puntos. La defensa tiene que evitar que esto ocurra y tratar de impedir el avance del equipo rival hacia la anotación.

  4. Puntuaciones • Touchdown: Cuando se consigue llevar el balón hasta la línea final del campo. (6 puntos) • Field Goal: Cuando se realiza un lanzamiento a palos con el pie (3 puntos)

  5. Posiciones • El futbol americano es un deporte de equipo, dentro del campo se encuentran al mismo tiempo 22 jugadores: • 11 jugadores de ataque • 11 judadores de defensa

  6. Posiciones de ataque • Líneas de ataque: • Guardia, Center, 2 Offensive tackle y tight end • Receptores: • 3 Receptores abierto • Corredores: • Corredor y fullback • Quaterback.

  7. Posiciones de defensa • Líneas de defensa: • 2 Deffensive end y 2 Deffensive tackle. • Linebackers: • Middle, Strong y wild • Secunadaria: • 2 Cornerbacks y 2 safetys
