  3. DVD-Forum activity • Japan DVD-Audio conference was held on November 28. • DVD Audio were discussed with demonstration. • Over 200 audience were attended.

  4. Related to Copy Protection • WG9/Ah9-1 is studying implementation of emerging new conditions such as EPN. • MEI’s proposal “EPN support on video recording” was accepted by WG9 and would be discussed in TCG. • EPN will be in service soon in Japan. • WG9 had a meeting to discuss copy protection requirements for HD-DVD9 in L.A. on December 3. • Requirements not only for HD-DVD9 but also for HD content in general were presented. • Issues such as compatibility, robustness, extensibility and some other additional concepts were discussed.
