5. 5 The Greek name «GEODOMISI» comes from the combination of the Greek words «GEO», which means EARTH, and «DOMISI», which means CONSTRUCTION. From this name was taken the registered title of the Firm. As the name symbolically and characteristically declares, the firm specializes in Soil Mechanics, Rock Mechanics, Anchored Piles Retaining Walls and Foundation Engineering, undertaking both consulting services for all stages of construction for a project: above, below and from the earth as well as the inve-stigation and the localization of underground water reservoirs and Engineering Geology.
