Slivic My society.
Education Our informal education includes the basics, walking and talking. They value education greatly but spend only a few years in Slivcia (our school) due to the fact that it is continuous. They spend 4 years in school. During that time period they go through levels 1 through 20.
Education is mandatory. The dungeon comes in handy when there are disobedient people, it has a dragon and everything. The dungeon is for people who don’t attend Silvica. When in the dungeon, you have to stay for 5 days without food and water.
Religion They don’t have a god or goddess. They believe in the great pumpkin. Every year they gather to the giant field in the middle of the woods to chant and sing and praise the Great pumpkin.
Language They don’t have a language, they use their minds to speak to each other. They can shut off their power to listen as well. Block each other. When they use their powers the other people they speak to can also hear what they are thinking. When you shut off your powers, people get little beeping sounds when someone wants to talk.
Healthcare The people in my society never get sick or injured. They are indestructible. Everyone lives for 100 years exactly. They die peacefully. After they die their spirits wander the earth but do not haunt.
Economy My society does not have money or any type of currency. They are willing to give even at their own expense. Everyone trusts each other and if they are caught lying they are sent to the dungeon of doom. They use wood for almost everything. They value their trees to a great extent. When they cut a tree down, they plant 3 more. The rely on themselves. They grow their own crops and trade among themselves. We have no doctors because we are indestructible.
Government My society agrees on everything together, they don’t have one person to make all the decisions. They all get together and have a giant vote.
Roles In my society, the women are the ones that bring home the bacon and the men are the ones that stay home and look after the kids. Everyone works together to make this the best place ever.
Transportation They use a subway like thing. It brings them to where ever they want in their society really, really fast. They also walked or biked but the subway was the main use.
Housing Their houses are all alike, big and formal. Everyone welcomes each other if they need a place to stay. The houses are make out of bricks and wood, bullet proof windows, etc.
A day in their Shoes. The women would get up and go to work. They don’t have pay checks or anything because everyone shares but everyone also needs to provide. That’s why they work, the men stay home to look after the children. Technically this is a society that works together to make ends meet.
Overall. Education is very important to them, they believe in the great pumpkin instead of a god. My society uses their minds to speak, no actual words are used. They are indestructible but die after exactly 100 years. Everyone trust each other so we don’t have a money system. If someone commits a crime, they go to the dungeon, it has a dragon. We take votes instead of having a government so we can agree on it and not have one person to make the decisions.
P.A. And again, they use democracy which leads to consensus. They have a town hall where they gather together and vote on the issue. If not everyone agrees, people suggest different solutions. They get to the point where everyone finally agrees.
Different Places in Slivic When going to a different town the rules are still the same and people are always treated the same no matter what. They are the same society, just in different locations. They break down all aspects of ethnocentrism.
Belief System They were aloud to believe in whatever they wanted. (Not necessarily talking about religion) That’s why it takes along time to make decisions. It eventually becomes a moot point.
Before Before Slivic was a great well known place, they use to be just a small town but yet powerful. Wealth and the ability to work together made them great fighters. They traveled far and took over many other small towns. Some stayed back in the towns they took over and soon, every town was owned by Slivicians. They took over their entire unit. The only ones in their unit left are Slivicians. Though in different parts of their unit, they still work together and are intertwined.
Also Their relationship with others before Skrim (the extermination of everyone else) wasn’t bad. They got along but didn’t always see eye to eye. It was just the fact that Slivicians were population fast and needed more land. So they took over all of it. It is now a peaceful environment.
Before Skrim Other ways of speaking were used in different units when other people still ruled their place but they didn’t bother with other languages because they had an imperial way of speaking to each other. They use to have ethnocentrism because Slivic was clearly the option to go with. (just saying lol) It ended when their society took over and they all get along with each other.
During Extermination During Scrim, some of the Slivicians sided with other people, which was ok, it was their choice, they were killed off with other people in other places.
Roles Women were the ones to go out and provide for their family while the men were the “stay at home mothers.” They had elderly but they didn’t act as if they were tired or sore etc. Everyone lives healthy lives until they die in their hundredth year. Children get an education and help out at home.
Rights and Responsibilities Rights: free speech, freedom of thought, free to vote and have an opinion. Equality rights. Responsibilities: Attend school, provide for their families, help others, vote and protect the environment.
Oppression Before they took over other places, they were suffering with lack of food and space. Since they kept populating they quickly ran out of their resources. They were quickly replenished when they started Skrim.
Poor/Middle Class/Rich No one was poor, they all took care of each other weather it was lending money or putting a house over their head until a new job was found etc. If one person starved, they all did. Everyone was middle class. Working to provide. If people were rich, it was because they were selfish.
