The main development indicators • There are more than 30 indicators included in the 11th five-year plan covering growth, economic structure, population, resources, environment and public services • GDP grow at 7.5% each year • The energy consumption per unit GDP decrease by 20% within next five year • The main pollution decrease by 10% within the next five year • Different indicators will be enforced by different measures
VI. The priorities of 11th five-year plan • 1. Maintaining relatively rapid economic growth • 2. Building new socialist countryside by enhancing rural development and improving public services in the rural areas so as to narrow rural-urban gap and further reduce the rural poverties. • 3.Adjust the industrial structures so as to improve competitiveness and spatial allocation • 4.Enhance service sectors so as to improve service quality and increase service employment • 5.Coordinate regional development so as to narrow regional disparity and improve the balance of allocation of population, economies and resources
