Setting • The setting of the story is pine heights elementary school where allie finkle attends • The real setting of the story is the playground of pine heights, that’s where the whole conflict starts
Characters • The main character of the story is allie finkle she is a 9 year old girl • The names of allies friends that help her through the whole conflict are sophie,caroline,erica,and rosemary • Allie finkle is a smart intelligent girl and keeps a book of rules
Plot • In the beginning of the story allie is forced to switch her great seat next to Erica, her best friend to make room for the new girl Cheyenne • Cheyenne decides that pine heights elementary school is filled with big babies like Allie and her friends because they’re to immature • Cheyenne decides to have a big sleepover for her birthday and invites all the girls in the class except allie and her friends • Allie decides to have a sleepover of her own and gets to mattress surf and eat fudge brownie soup which she was sure Cheyenne wasn’t having at her lousy sleepover • Cheyenne turns into a big bully and starts calling allie big baby finkle • Allie and her friends decide to give cheyenne a taste of her own medicine and call her big mouth O’ malley • Cheyenne gets in big trouble with her teacher
Conflict/resolution • The conflict is never actually resolved, Cheyenne gets in trouble but she still held the grudge • The conflict is mostly between Cheyenne and allie
theme • The theme or moral of this story is to not be a bully • in this book Cheyenne is a big bully which resolves in a lot of conflict
Book review • I thought this was a great book, it contained drama ( hence the name ). This book was a page turner I read it for 2 days straight till I finished it. I would recommend this book to girls ages 9 and up. Meg cabot did a great job creating allie.
