Immediately Post-op • Again, ask your doctor • Likely also meet other members of the pituitary team: • Endocrine fellow • Neurosurgery resident physicians • Nurse practitioner • If you have questions during your hospital stay, let the RN know and a member of the team is always available to address your questions/concerns

  4. Online Sites • Be careful with online information, ALWAYS take with a grain of salt • Some sites are more reputable that others and information is more closely monitored • If you read something online that seems to contradict what you understand from your physician, please review with them prior to making changes to your medical management • Even something like dietary changes/ supplements can be important

  7. Online Sites • Multiple sites specific to each disorder and several with free forums for discussion/support • Emphasize: do NOT change your regimen based on advice/suggestions from these sites; ALWAYS check with your treating physician
