Their destination, Williamsburg, VA and a national conference addressing interagency collaboration. They represented both the Ohio Department of Education, and The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Their work during that conference laid the foundation for the Common Good’s first institute in 1990, and the 10 years of collaboration that have followed. Today, those 7 are affectionately referred to as the “Founding Mothers”. They are: Sandra Thatcher Laurenson Connie Ackerman Jane Frye Lynne Hall Virginia Ringel Ellen Seusy Gene Todd
