Confession • “Work out your salvation with fear and trembling .” Philippians 2.12 • “There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2.5 • “Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another.” James 5.16 • “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1.9

God is Light • Light stresses the desire of God to reveal himself. "I am the light of the world.” John 8.12a • Light accents God's empowering activity. “Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8.12b
God is Light God's light requires a change in character For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light, for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth. Ephesians 5.8-9
