  4. 01 - Elián González (2º de la derecha), delegado por la provincia de Matanzas y miembro de la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas de Cuba, asiste al IX Congreso de la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas en La Habana el 4 de abril de 2010. Elián fue el niño que naufragó cuando viajaba ilegalmente con su madre –y otros pasajeros– de Cuba a los EEUU en noviembre de 1999. Su madre y la mayoría de los otros murieron cuando su barco zozobró. Elían fue dado en custodia a miembros de su familia en Miami, pero finalmente regresó a Cuba reclamado por su padre, el 28 de junio de 2000.
