PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Primary Benefit: Server is the only machine with direct access to the data. Clients make requests to the server, server processes the requests, accesses the data, makes the changes, updates online units as required, and provides feedback to the client systems. Secondary Benefits: All clients can originate online requests and see online data, as server controls all data and devices. Less network overhead, as all databases are not passed to every client.
