Our Speakers for the NTT • Kuang-Ching (KC) Wang– Clemson University • Since 2010, Clemson has deployed an OpenFlow network that spans academic buildings and data centers with a team of faculty, students, and IT engineers. • The process stimulated a series of research, education, and campus IT initiatives as well as a collaborative framework for self-sustaining evolution of the campus IT for supporting the university's core missions. • Gerben van Malenstein – SURFnet • Will present an update on ongoing developments in national and international on-demand bandwidth services. • SURFnet has offered a bandwidth on demand service to customers in the Netherlands since 2008, and this service is currently being extended to the international community trough NetherLight; SURFnet's GLIF Open Lightpath Exchange (GOLE) in Amsterdam.
