  1. Conveyor Systems In Singapore

  2. Feige Filling Technology Pte Ltd offers four main types of conveyor systems, namely carrying chain conveyor for pallets, pallet roller conveyor, drum roller conveyor, and container roller conveyor.

  3. A conveyor system is defined as a piece of machinery equipment that can be deployed to transport items from one specified physical starting location to another ending location. These items are usually large in quantity or size which are not possible to be transported easily with human labor.

  4. The carrying chain conveyor is a heavy duty conveyor that can handle pallets with gross weight of up to 2000 kilograms. Items are placed onto the bottom transverse deck of pallets or single spacer blocks which are then safety transported to its required location by the conveyor.

  5. The carrying chain is supported by low fiction plastic profile which provides resistance to wear. It is able to be operated with 2, 3, 4, or 5 chains. For example, 2 chains can be used for empty pallets while 3 chains can be used for full pallets.

  6. The conveyor is propelled by gear motors and can achieve a typical speed of approximately 9 meters per minute. Option for varying this speed is available for situation if faster or slower operations are required. Reversible drive is available in the event that dual direction is required. The conveyor can be raised and lowered to transport pallet onto another pallet roller conveyor that is placed perpendicularly. Sensors and programmable logic controller ensure that the entire process is safely operated. The supporting structure of the conveyor system is made of galvanized steel.

  7. Galvanized steel is produced by coating zinc onto steel sheets. The end result is that the galvanized steel has the added advantage of being resistant to corrosion. Normal steel is made of iron and carbon that can corrode when it comes into contact with any water moisture.

  8. The pallet roller conveyor is a heavy duty conveyor that can handle pallets with gross weight of up to 2000 kilograms. Its side frame is made of stainless steel while the rollers are made of galvanized steel. The rollers can be customized to stainless steel if required for more stringent conditions.
