  3. Review • In ancient (old) times people saw constellations as animals or characters formed in the sky. • They made up names and stories to explain how the character or animal came into the sky!

  5. Do stars move? • No! Stars appear to move, but it is the Earth rotating around the Sun. • That is why we see different star patterns! Also known as constellations! • That is also why we see certain stars in certain seasons!
