Definition • When one’s peers pressure them. One’s peers pressure them in to doing something they might not want to do. They could also pressure them in to doing something they want to do, but is afraid to do it. For instance going on a ride at play land. You might not want to go on, your friends bug you and make fun of you until you give in and go on it. Another example would be doing drugs. You do not want to do them. You know their bad. Your peers then convince you by saying its only one.... • “Dictionary.com” Has the definition of: social pressure by members of one's peer group to take a certain action, adopt certain values, or otherwise conform in order to be accepted.
Constructive • Help you try things you would never try ( new foods, games, books) • Give you confidence to talk to new people • Push you to try your best in sports like seeing somone you know trying harder, you can feel pressured to do better. • Can make you change your personality to a better one
Destructive • It can influence you in to drugs/alcohol It can influence you by other people amking fun of you or pressuring you • It can make you do something you are uncomfortable doing • It can cause you to lose friends, or change friend groups • It change your views even if you think you are correct
