Story of My Saint’s Life Born 1181/1182 in Assisi, Italy He was one of the seven children born to Pietro Di Benardone His family was very rich He gave most of his money away He joined the military He loved animals He died on Oct. 3 1226 He was canonized by Pope Gregory on July 16,1228 His feast day is October 4

  4. Role model • I can feed the birds during the winter • I can play with my pets more • I can go to church more often • I can help my sister with her homework • I can give all my toys and clothes to the poor

  5. My Unofficial Saint • I chose my grandma as my unofficial saint because she prays a lot. She donates to the poor. She babysits kids. She prays the Rosary a lot.
