  2. Today and tomorrow… You will complete a worksheet. Certain information you will not be able to fill in until we Work with the laptops next week to research. Therefore, you will estimate, and then revise later. If you have a pencil, please use it!

  3. Mission & Vision Mission: What are you seeking to do? Vision: What is your ideal vision for this business?

  4. Location (Include Square Footage) Chose a specific location. • On Thursday in the Mac Lab, you can research an actual location, that is when you will provide square footage.

  5. Services Offered What does your business offer? Ex: Salon • Manicure/Pedicure • Haircut/Color • Waxing

  6. Market Research Results Did you chose a location that will benefit your business? Did you scout the area to make sure there isn’t competition? You will better be able to answer this Monday during your research, but for now, explain the type of location that would benefit your business.

  7. Proposed Start-Up Budget You will need a certain amount of money to start up your business. On the chart, list the equipment, appliances, and furniture you would need and estimate the costs. Once again, this may be revisedMonday after research

  8. Proposed Monthly Budget Each month you will have recurring expenses such as rent, materials, paying out employees, etc. Give details under each service and estimate its cost. Can be revised after research.
