  4. Fire Drill Procedures • “fire alarm” sounds • stop, drop what you’re doing and walk to double gym doors. • Leave gym in single line and quietly follow teacher. • wait for bell to return.

  5. GYM RULES • I will follow directions. • I will use time wisely. • I will take care of all school property. • I will be considerate of other students. • I will come to class prepared with my materials. • I will show respect for others.

  6. I will follow directions. • come in quietly • begin your walk • return to squads for warm-ups • cool down “walk again” • “grapes” “activity time” • line up slowly • leave quietly

  7. I will use time wisely. • stop • look • listen • voice command means “freeze”

  8. I will take care of all school property. • the floor • no “muddy shoes” • All equipment

  9. I will be considerate of other students by keeping my hands, feet, and other objects to myself. • sit criss-cross on the floor, hands in lap

  10. I will come to class prepared with my materials • dressed properly • good footwear • a smile on my face • good sportsmanship • safety first

  11. PE Shoes…NOT!

  12. I will show respect for others. • kind • courteous • friendly

  13. Notes: • Note from Mom, excused from participating that day • Note from Doctor, excused from participating for as long as note indicates • No note, student will participate • Note from school nurse is excused

  14. GRADES SKILLS………………GRADES • 3 WEEK PROGRESS REPORTS • CALL HOME TO PARENTS • NAME IN THE GRADE BOOK • LOSS OF PRIVILEGES

  15. TEACHER (that’s me) Always ask permission to leave the gym! • bathroom • drinking fountain • nurses office

  16. Rotation & Units • ART MUSIC PE is our rotation • Please keep up with your PE days and come prepared with shoes and proper clothing and notes, ect. • 3rd, 4th, and 5th BADMINTON • K, Primary, 1st, and 2nd JUMP ROPES & GAMES

  17. The Gym • The double gym doors will be locked, please do not come through the gym to go outside or try to come in from the playground. Use the 3rd grade hallway door to enter the building or the 4th grade doors. • No one allowed in the gym without a teacher present!!!!!
