REDEPLOYMENT PROCESS Employee is deemed eligible to be placed on Redeployment Register. Employee completes Skills Audit form Vacancy arises and is approved. Recruiting Manager with input from HR Partner makes recommendation to HRD/Deputy on recruitment process* • 1Final decision about recruitment process for each post will be made by HR Director or Deputy and will be based on: • skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required for the role • whether there is likely to be any employee(s) on the redeployment register who could reasonably apply for the role. • information obtained from skills audit • knowledge of HR partner. EXTERNAL - Advert placed in relevant media and on LU website AT RISK – advert is advertised to all at risk staff for 5 days At risk candidates can apply but will be considered alongside all other external applicants Suitable applicants need to demonstrate how they meet or could meet the essential criteria for the role NO – Post advertised externally Applicants are considered for the post against role requirements. Consideration is given to reasonable training YES - Employee is redeployed on a trial period
