  2. CONSTRUCTION COSTS SUMMARY INFN has also provided in LNGS the general infrastructures of the detector and the new OPERA building LAB1 LNGS INFRASTRUCTURES = 1921 K€ LAB1 = 1891 K€

  3. Detector Completion • Target Mass Completion: • Production of the ~ 30% missing emulsion films • Cost ~5 M€ • Technical feasibility not clear • Pending Costs for Lead & BAM

Support for Running in LNGS Opera Collaboration is grateful to LNGS services for the continuous support • In the past we asked for setting up a site management structure composed of people dedicated full time to OPERA • Mechanical Engineer: Site manager, GLIMOS for the underground activities of installation, commissioning and running • Chemical Engineer: Emulsion handling and development. • Computing support: System manager, Oracle database. • Physicist or Engineer: Fellowship for the commissioning of the electronics • Secretary: administrative support to the site team and to the collaboration, web site administration no yes 1.5 no yes yes 50%

  8. Support for Running in LNGS • Opera Collaboration is grateful to INFN for the continuous • support provided through FAI Funds: • 45 K€ • 65 K€ • 70 K€ • We need temporary contracts or financial support for foreign • visiting scientist for long stays at LNGS.
