Unit Summary • Students will use the code of chivalry from Medieval Times and recreate and apply their ideals to today. • They will create their own modern day “knights” and determine what qualities and ethics they should live by. • After researching the ideas from their readings, students will prepare a new unit to be applied to modern or future “knights.”

Curriculum Framing Questions • Essential Question • Do good deeds go unnoticed? • Unit Questions • What chivalrous characteristics best apply to your person? • Following the characteristics of chivalry, who would be a modern day King Arthur? • Content Questions • What is chivalry? • What characteristics are knights suppose to follow?
