Simply on single connection customer can make two simultaneous calls. Typically used by SMEs.  ISDN PRI  It’s a single digital connection with 30 communication channels. The connection is typically connected to an EPABX of an Enterprise. Simultaneously 30 incoming/outgoing calls can be made on a PRI.  THE NEW BEGINNING….

DEFINITION It is central office based communication service which integrates all your multi located Tata Indicom phone lines into a single highly functional communication group with more distinctive features without any additional equipment (like EPABX) at customer’s premises. Widex is a PBX-like service providing switching at the central office instead of at the customer's premises. Typically, Tata Indicom owns and manages all the communications equipment and software necessary to implement the Widex service and then sells various services to the customer. ? ? ?

EXTENSION WISE BILLING ON PRI • Extension Wise Billing on PRI provides the user with the capability to track telecom usage on each PBX extension as per business units and divisions & control the cost • Each DID number (extension) in PRI will receive an individual bill • The tariff package will be attached to extension numbers also and bill will be generated for each extension. Tariff plan will be customized as per the requirement of the customer • Example: Currently the customer is on a PRI plan of monthly rental Rs.30k with 100 extensions. In this scenario, the customized plan will be Rs.300 rental per extension with the same tariff • Business Rules • All the extensions will have same tariff plan • All the extensions of a particular customer will be in one single billing account • EWB will be available across all PRI which are homed to NGN, Lucent & Alcatel switches.
