What is Link4Hubs? Short term capacity assessment makes a newfirm Day Ahead product possible Service enables the transfer of gas between the 3 grids A One-click service Capacity booking and nomination combined Enhance possibilities for day ahead cross-border gas trade and price arbitrage ENDK GUD GTS
Link4Hubs – how does it work? Shipper • One Click: • Transfer of gas from portfolio in one country to portfolio • in another country TSO Contracts One click received TSO A prepares exit-contract from country A TSO B prepares entry-contract and exit-contract through country B TSO C prepares entry-contract into country C All TSOs nominate to these contracts Shipper only sees new cross-border service contracts ENDK GTS GUD TSO actions The TSOs arrange the underlying physical transportation The offered service is firm (we start by offering a small amount)
Some preliminary conclusions Results Challenges • Common focus on market facilitation • Successful inter TSO cooperation • Co-operation agreement established • Implemented very fast and within budget and deadlines! • Positive customer feedback • Three parties • New international inter-TSO project organization • Different contract and tax rules • Differences in TSO IT-systems and internal procedures • Cultural differences
