Where is the Great Barrier Reef? The Great Barrier Reef is located on the northeastern coast of Australia. The Great Barrier Reef is 1,250 miles long. WOW!!!!! It is the worlds largest coral formation.
How was It Constructed? The Great Barrier Reef is made of many coral reefs next to each other. Eventually, all the reefs came together to form a great big reef. It eventually got the name “The Great Barrier Reef”.
How do we use The Great Barrier Reef? The Great Barrier Reef attracts many tourists. One reason lots of tourists come is because of scuba diving. Many people like to go scuba diving at The Great Barrier Reef to see the beautiful fish and the coral underneath the ocean. Another thing people do is go on a helicopter and fly over to see the beautiful view.
