  2. Your Task • Create your own aphorism about your life, love, people, values, beliefs- anything • Write a paper about why this aphorism fits your life and your experiences that contributed to the self-made aphorism

  3. Structure • Intro • Hook • Thesis: State Aphorism and reasons • Be creative

  4. Structure Cont’d • Body (several paragraphs) • Should have vivid, coherent reasons that aphorism fits your life • Draw from at least 3 different personal experiences that span over your lifetime
