ETICS - e-Infrastructure for Software Testing and Configuration

ETICS is a multi-platform and open-source service that helps software developers, managers, and users better manage complexity and improve the quality of their software. It provides daily, nightly, and continuous build and test monitoring, as well as browsing and editing project data through a secured web application or CLI.

ETICS • ETICS -> "e-Infrastructure for Testing, Integration and Configuration of Software" • It provides a service to help software developers, managers and users to better manage complexity and improve the quality of their software. • ETICS is multi-platform and open source. • The client is designed to be simple to install. Results from daily, nightly and continuous builds and tests can be monitored via the web. Problems • ETICS is under development • Missing binary external dependencies • Mis-using/wrong configuration • Important to remember (for environment variables): --project-config glite_branch_3_1_0 • Overriding environment as fixes (--platform) -> gcc323 vs gcc346 However: we are able to build gJAF and handling of dependecies and building is simplified.
