  2. Welcome! To codename‘DiskOS International’Beta Public preview presentation! BETA DiskOS Thank you for trying our advanced shell, DiskOS International, one of first products from βasic§ystems Corporation that is soon to complete! This presentation will cover what we reached so far in DiskOS International development, you may be surprised that all this shell was developed in Visual Basic for DOS (VBDOS), hence it’s an advanced shell which bases on MS-DOS You’d like to see what we have?   3. What is DiskOS International? BETA Back in late 2008/early 2009, we were developing DOS 24-Bit. It was developed in same environment (VBDOS), and had more support for hardware since it has a linked library called “Future”. Due to some situations the system never completed and was suspended. Not until 6 June 2013 when we started reprogramming it from scratch in the name of DiskOS International, which handles the same ideas and plans that were put back then. DiskOS INTERNATIONAL

What does this shell features for now? • Advanced memory swap file management, with controlling the allocations, reallocations and reading from its table. • Controls which are alike Microsoft Windows controls (Radio button, Check box, Press button, and the dialogs). • All current programmed controls can handle click events, and hover events for now only. • It includes an interpreter, which will help you designing your own form with the controls you want, all are done via a command-line system. What we might see in the future versions of DiskOS? • More controls support with more event handlers. • A new system of executable (DEXE Applications). • The interpreter command-line will be enhanced more and will have a visual form editing (You can create controls and preview them by mouse instead of command-line codes). • The system will support multiple dialogs view at once (It supports for now only one dialog to be shown on screen). • And a lot of other features!   6. You may now run the VMWare virtual machine that was included with the package. The VM contains DiskOS Build 60 r-3 preinstalled.
