  2. Fasting blood glucose level: A fasting blood sugar of 126 mg/dL or more, satisfies a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. 

  3. Oral glucose tolerance test:

  4. Random Blood Sugar Level

  5. Glycosylated Hemoglobin Level this is the newest way to diagnose diabetes.
