This programme aims to help develop clear goals and commitment to improve leadership effectiveness, understand leadership strategies to transform services, and build confidence to lead in a complex context. It includes sessions on self-reflection, leading high-performing teams, and understanding the national context of changing systems. Participants will learn about collaborative leadership and how to promote their service effectively using Appreciative Inquiry and social media.

Well-led programme aims This programme will support you to: develop a clear understanding of what ‘well-led’ looks like develop clear goals and commitment to improve leadership effectiveness develop your team leadership effectiveness develop a clear understanding of how leadership strategies and techniques can be used to transform services and improve quality build confidence and skills necessary to lead services in an increasingly complex and challenging context learn from the experience of others.

Leading in and beyond the boundaries of your service At the end of today you will: recognise the national context of changing systems in the sector be familiar with your wider system and opportunities for engagement feel more confident about influencing and persuading others identify the features of collaborative leadership in building a positive culture in your care community apply Appreciative Inquiry in developing a positive workplace culture to support collaboration in your care community have identified new ways to promote your service.
