Need to Centralize and Continue to Offer Local Flavor Case Study • A regional bank, with operations in 4 Caribbean countries, needed to continue to grow its card portfolio and stay at the forefront of its markets • The existing processor functionality and services were not allowing the bank to create new products and tailor them by country • Products were needed to maintain the corporate image, but be flexible enough to meet the local market needs • Information needed to be at the users’ fingertips to service local clients and to meet management reporting demands at the individual country and bank level • The bank required a solution which supported a flexible product set up and the ability to maintain and quickly change any portion of the processing features of its products, due to a very fast paced, changing and demanding market • Market Demands • Changes is Compliance • Local Government Requirements

  5. 6. Conclusions • The needs of financial institutions are becoming more complex and demanding as the region gets smaller with the presence of regional and global banks • Products that can be competitive and portable across the region must be easily accessible to product owners • Global, regional and local banks are competing for the same customers • Banks need to align themselves with partners that can offer flexibility, knowledge and information • Regional and local banks need access to products and services that the global institutions have available to them
