  2. The Purposes • To simulate life during this important time in American history • To recognize the importance of the conflict • To showcase a wide variety of student talent • To recognize student achievement throughout the unit • To have a wonderful and memorable experience!

  3. The Encampment • Tuesday, May 15th, 6-10:00pm • Small groups travel the school hearing Civil War re-enactors in 10 minute chunks. • Cannons fire! • Gettysburg ghost stories will be told!

  4. You can have your cake…

  5. …and chicken, dumplings,beans, cornbread, punch, and other stuff too!

  6. …Then groups travel the building to see……

  7. Student Re-enactors!

  8. Then cannons and nighttime ghost stories on the hill!

  9. THE BALL- Friday,May18th 6-9:00 pm
