REGION • Region – physical and human characteristics are similar • Natural Regions – 10 in the world • Unique combination of plant and animal life + climate • What is a culture region? Sound familiar?
MOVEMENT • Movement – people, goods, and ideas • Migrate – to move from one place to another • PULL - Standard of living, employment, education, freedom, peace, safety • PUSH – natural barriers, transportation, mother nature
HEI • HEI – Humans interacted with their own environment • Examples… farming, man made dams, mushroom farms • Pollution • Housing Developments
