  2. Tell me about yourself • Keep your answers short and simple. • Elaborate on experience and goals relating to the applied position. • Summarize your resume and talk about transitions in employment.

  3. Why did you leave your previous job? • If you have a job, say you are “seeking greater opportunity”. • Got fired? Say that you “parted ways” and change the topic to your accomplishments. • Laid off? Then it’s ok to say it’s recession related.

  4. What is your range of salary? • Always say negotiable. • Find out what others are making/ the same position in the area at. • Research! Research! Research!

  5. What are your goals for the future? • Explain that you want to excel and be known for your skills. • Mention how you see yourself having more responsibilities in the company. • Give examples of positive results that you will make.
