Importance of Early Childhood Education The child’s developmental needs must be met & supported by his/her immediate environment- thus, parents play a critical role as first educators. Research clearly shows that a significant part of a child’s social, cognitive, physical and emotional development is completed by the age of 6.
Early Childhood Education Those most in need of education benefit the least from existing services. Investments in early childhood education reduce social and economic inequality.
