Staff Vacancy - Rascals Pre-School Playgroup Rascals Pre-School Playgroup, operated by Rustington Methodist Church, has a part- time vacancy for a qualified practitioner with effect from September 2014. Qualifications: GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths. Level 3 or above in Early years / Childcare. First Aid and recent Child Protection training is desirable. Hours: 2 mornings per week 9am – 1pm. Term time only. Applicants will be required to be flexible in order to cover colleagues absence, attend staff meetings and training and attend a parent’s evening once per term. Experience: Current/recent experience of the EYFS is essential including experience of being a key person and recording individual children’s learning experiences within a Learning Journal. You would be joining a small and very friendly team within a pack-away setting. In-house and external training is ongoing. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of an enhanced DBS check and references. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
