  3. Analysis of the teaching materials This is Module 4, Unit 1,Grdae 3,New Standard English, Book 1, it’s an important module in this book .Such a topic is related to colors. This lesson includes five colors and a sentence.

  4. Analysis of the students Grade Three is the initial stage of English learning. Our boys and girls are exposed to English for the first time. They like playing and singing, they have curiosities for everything. So it is very important to develop their interest in English, stresses on the emotion and creates a well beginning for them.

  5. Teaching aims • 1. Aims on the knowledge (1) To listen , read and say “red, yellow, green, blue, black and chameleon”. (2) To describe the colors of something with “It’s…”. • 2. Aims on the abilities (1) Can use the color words exactly. (2) Can describe the colors in their lives freely. (3) Can communicate very well with the sentences of colors. • 3. Aims on the emotion (1) Let the students love the colors around them. (2) To develop their interest in English.

Key points and difficult points • Key points of this lesson • Listen, read and say : red, yellow, green, blue and black. • (2)To describe the colors with “It’s…”. • (3)To develop Ss’ interest in English. • Difficult points • (1)The pronunciations of “green and chameleon”. • (2)The intonation of the sentence: “Now, It’s red, blue, • yellow, and green.”
