The most common thermometer used in labs is the Celsiusthermometer. The Kelvin scale is based on the concept of AbsoluteZero. Absolute zero (0 Kelvin) is the coldest possible temperature.
Converting Temperature: Celsius to Kelvin: K = °C + 273 Kelvin to Celsius: °C = K - 273 Kelvin is 273 greater than Celsius. Kelvin temperatures will always be positive numbers

Freezing water to boiling water: 0 °C to 100 °C or 32 ° F to 212 ° F 212 – 32 = 180 A 100 degree difference for Celsius. A 180 degree difference for Fahrenheit. A change of 1 °C = 1.8 ° F
