  2. SHRM’s Definition of Inclusion At SHRM, we define inclusion as “the achievement of a work environment in which all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, and can contribute fully to the organization’s success.”

  4. What can you do to make sure your company is diversity compliant? Learn what is working for other companies. Every year DiversityInc publishes the Top 50 Companies they recognize for their diversity initiatives. They rate the companies through a metrics-driven evaluation and give each company a report card. You can have your company evaluated and given a report card.
