Sex & Relationships: 3 fundamental beliefs of our society: • You can’t be happy unless you’re sexually active. • The kind of relationship that makes you happy isn’t necessarily what makes me happy – each of us has to work out his own arrangement. • You should definitely pursue the lifestyle that makes you happy.

  3. In Jesus’ Kingdom... • Howshouldwelive? • Whatisrightandwhatiswrong? • Whatisgoodandwhatisevil? ... in theareaof sex & relationships?

  4. God requires purity & faithfulness right down to our hearts & minds (v27-28) • Jesus ‘tightens’ theconstraintsofthelaw (v28)  Surelyallare guilty! • Godcaresaboutourhearts.

  5. Jesus’ call to purity & faithfulness calls for drastic measures (v29-30) • Come to Jesus on our knees • Daily repentance – turning away from sin for our own wellbeing.

  7. Divorce is tantamount to adultery (v31-32) • God’s people should not get divorced • Marriage for life is God’s perfect plan for men & women.

  9. Divorce is tantamount to adultery (v31-32) • God’s people should not get divorced • Marriage for life is God’s perfect plan for men & women. • Divorce may sometimes be the lesser evil.

  10. Jesus’ Kingdom is Beautiful! • We should ask Him for mercy! • We should be merciful to each other! • We should aspire to live out His kingdom’s values today.
