  1. Reporter: A young boy, an old man were dead and a young girl was injured in a fire in Sha Tin yesterday morning. Firefighters believe that the old man died when he was trying to save his grandson. The child was too young to escape. Reporter: ‘What did you see when the fire happened?’ Victim 1:‘I saw somebody waving her hands with her towels. I felt very upset and unhappy.’ Reporter: ‘What were you doing when the fire happened?’ Victim 2: ‘I was awakened by the shouts of fire happened?’ ‘ I was awakened by the shouts of ‘fire’. I have no time to put on my shoes. If no one had knocked on my door, I would have been to death.’ Reporter: ‘How many fire engines and ambulances were there?’ fireman: ‘There were three fire engines and two ambulances.’ Reporter: ‘When was the fire put out?’ Fireman: ‘In the evening, the fire was put out.’ Cheung Suet Wing, Cindy 5A

  2. My favourite Transport in Hong Kong My favourite transport in Hong Kong is the MTR train. I take it to visit my friends and I always take it to go shopping in Mong Kok. It’s good because it’s fast and cheap. I always get a set seat on the MTR train. I hate standing for a long time. Although by the MTR train is fast, I can not look at the view on the MTR train. It is very crowed in the morning. I don’t like it! Sometimes I can read a book or listen to music too. Although travelling by MTR train is fast and cheap, sometimes it’s crowded. There are no windows on the MTR train so I can not breathe the fresh air! Yeung Man Man, Amy, 5A

  3. Lost in Cheung Chau Last Saturday morning Mr and Mrs Lam went shopping in Cheung Chau. They got lost and it was raining. Mrs Lam said, ‘Oh ! Where are we now? What should we do?’ Luckily they saw a beautiful lady. ‘How far is it from here to the nearest minibus stop?’ asked Mrs Lam. ‘It is a long way. It’s two and a half kilometres,’ answered the beautiful lady and she showed them the way. They arrived at the minibus stop but they missed the minibus. Then Mr Lam took out his mobile phone and called a taxi. Finally they got back to the pier. They were so tired so they fell asleep on the ferry. Cheung Suet Wing, Cindy,5A

  4. Cinderella Scene I Narrator: One day, Cinderella and her friend met at the park! They were talking happily. Ada: Hi Cinderella! Let’s go to park together. Cinderella: OK ! Let’ go ! White’s friend: Cinderella is so ugly! White: Why does Cinderella have many friends? I want to kill Cinderella! Scene II Narrator: Oh no! Cinderella fell down on the floor. Ada: What happened to you ? R: Are you OK? Cinderella? Ada: Who can help Cinderella ? R: I think Superman can help Cinderella. Lam Hiu Ying, Mau Nim Nung, 5B Scene III Narrator: Oh Superman is coming. Superman: You are so kind. Cinderella: Thank you for your help! White: I should be kind! Thank you for your help! Cinderella: OK ! I want to get on with you. Narrator: Finally Cinderella, White and other people became good friends.

  5. A Homework Robot I have a Homework robot. It is powerful, useful and helpful. I call it Alan, It made of metal, so it is very hard and it has one hundred computer chips, so it is very clever. Its function is to solve my homework questions, projects and a lot of assignments fast. So I save a lot of time to play computer games, read storybooks, cartoons and television. It is amazing, I am so relaxed. but in the Exam, I can’t bring Alan to school, so I will add recessive to him . When I have a lot of books in the school bag, Alan will come to school to help me. The monsters is catching them. Maybe I can help them. Princess: Help me! Superwoman: I’m going to help you! Narrator: Cinderella and Princess were blown away. Cinderella: Thank you for your help!

  7. My favourite Transport in Hong Kong My favourite transport in Hong Kong is MTR. I use it everyday to go to school. It’s good because it’s convenient and it isn’t slow. I always sleep on the MTR. I don’t like it because it is crowed in rush hours. I hate standing up for a long time. I enjoy the air conditioning. Sometimes I read a book, listen to music or talk to my family or friends on the MTR. It’s nice to breathe the fresh air in the morning. Although travelling by MTR is fast, it’s expensive.   8. Lost in Lion Rock Country Park Last Sunday Mr and Mrs Lo went to Lion Rock Country Park. They got lost and it was dark. Mrs Lo screamed, ‘Oh ! Where are we now? What should we do? ’ Luckily they saw a young man. ‘How far is it from here to the number eighty-nine bus stop?’ asked Mrs Lo. ‘It’s not far. It’s one and a half kilometres,’ answered the young man he showed them the way. They arrived at the bus stop but there were no buses. Mr Lo took out his mobile phone and called a taxi.   9. My favourite Transport in Hong Kong My favourite transport is MTR in Hong Kong. The network of MTR is very big and perfect. I use it every Saturday. I can go everywhere by MTR. My grandparents live in Wong Tai Sin. I often visit them by MTR. It just takes ten minutes to get there. Children have a half price. I need to pay two dollars and twenty cents only. It is fast, cheap and convenient. So I like travelling by MTR. Although sometimes travelling by MTR is crowded, I still like travelling it because it doesn’t have traffic delay.   10. Lost in Aberdeen Last Sunday afternoon Mr and Mrs Chan went shopping in Aberdeen. They got lost and it was dark. Mr Chan said, ‘Oh! Where are we now? What should we do?’ Luckily they saw a policeman. ‘How far is it from here to the nearest taxi stand?’ asked Mrs Chan. ‘It’s not far. It’s two and a half kilometres.’ answered the policewoman and she showed them the way. They arrived at the taxi stand but they missed the taxi. Then Mr Chan took out his mobile phone and called his brother to help them. Finally they got back home. They were very tired so they fell asleep immediately. Chong Ping, Candy 5D

  11. Lost in Lam Tin Last Saturday afternoon Dicky and Celia went shopping in Lam Tin. They got lost and it was dark. Celia said, ‘Oh! Where are we now?’ ‘What should we do?’ Luckily they saw a man. ‘How far is it from here to the nearest MTR station?’ asked Celia. ‘It’s not far. It’s one kilometre,’ answered the man and he showed them the way. They arrived at the MTR station but they missed the MTR. Then Dicky took out his mobile phone and called a taxi.   12. Lost in Sai Kung Last Monday morning Mr and Mrs Chan went hiking in Sai Kung. They got lost and it was dark. Mrs Chan said, ‘Oh! Where are we now? Who can help us ?’ Luckily they saw a young lady. ‘How far is it from here to the nearest minibus stop?’ asked Mr Chan. ‘It’s a long way. It’s six and a half kilometres,’ answered the young lady.’ It’s too far. How about the nearest bus stop? How far is it?’ asked Mrs Chan. ‘It’s not far . It’s one kilometre.
